چکیده : حسین می دانست که او را بر سر دوراهی انتخاب میان زندگی ذلت‌بار یا ایستادگی برای حق‌خواهی قرار خواهند داد؛ و او ایستادن را برگزید. حسین (ع) می‌دانست که در این راه چه رنج‌های بزرگی در انتظار اوست.
